RETURNING TO THE BODY

Constitutional Archetypal Medicine

A consultation that lives between the clinical and the ritual

There is a woman in homeopathic tradition who has been carrying grief so long she has forgotten it has a name. She holds herself together with extraordinary competence, she does not ask for help easily, and she has learned somewhere along the way to need very little, or at least to appear that way. Homeopathy calls her Natrum Muriaticum, and she is made, at her most elemental, of salt.

Salt is what the ocean is made of. Salt is what our tears are made of. And salt, in the deep memory of the body, is what the fluid was made of that held us before we had a name, before we had a story, before we had learned to need very little. Natrum Muriaticum works in that same ancient register, moving through the body's waters, the lymph and the tears and the cellular fluid, inviting the system to remember how to hold itself with the same tenderness that the embryonic sea once offered us. It is, in this sense, not a remedy for grief but a remedy for the return to a self that existed before the grief arrived. Your chart may have known her for years.

There is another who arrived after a loss, a shock, a severance, and her name is Ignatia. She comes from the seed of a tree, small and hard and containing everything needed to begin again, and she works in the place where shock lives when it has never been given permission to finish moving through, where it has lodged so deep it became numbness, a quiet absence where feeling used to be. We know her body by its contradictions: the throat that closes around a grief too large to swallow, the sleep that will not come until the moment we need to rise, the sigh that moves through us from somewhere below language, unbidden, as though the body is trying to exhale something it never fully inhaled. These contradictions are not confusion. They are the nervous system's faithful record of something that happened too fast, too hard, something the body caught and held because there was nowhere else for it to go. Ignatia does not ask that record to be erased. She asks it, gently and with great patience, to finally finish its movement through.

And then there is Sepia, and she requires us to begin at the beginning, which is to say, in the ocean. She comes from the ink of the cuttlefish, that ancient, alien creature who survives not by fighting but by releasing a cloud of darkness into the water around her and disappearing into it, becoming invisible inside her own depths until the danger has passed. We have all done this. We have all, at some point, learned to cloud the water around ourselves so that what was hunting us could not find us. Sepia is the remedy for the woman who did this so well, and for so long, that she eventually lost herself inside her own disappearing act.

Sepia lives in the pelvis, in the womb space, in the creative centre that has gone somewhere cold and far away. Because the giving asked too much and the returning was too little, because somewhere in the long accumulation of devotion and depletion, her fire went down to embers to survive. Women who need Sepia do not lack passion. They are passion that has learned to protect itself by going quiet. What we are doing, when we work with this remedy, is not lighting a new fire. We are sitting beside the embers and remembering, together, that they were never extinguished.

We may recognize ourselves in one of these remedies. We may see pieces of ourselves in all three. That recognition, the quiet oh, that's me, is the beginning of a conversation the body has been trying to start for a long time... That's where we begin.

Constitutional Archetypal Medicine is a 90-minute consultation that lives at the threshold between clinical medicine and ritual, a space where our symptoms, our birth chart, and our living myth are held together as expressions of the same underlying pattern.

Before we meet, I will send you a detailed intake form covering your case history, your symptoms, and the weight of what you are currently carrying. This is the first act of the work itself, an invitation to begin listening before we have even spoken. I arrive having studied the story your body is living alongside your birth chart and the patterns currently shaping this particular season of your life, so that by the time we sit together, we are already in the middle of something.

In the session we meet the parts that have been faithfully protecting us, the ones your chart has been quietly pointing toward, the ones that have perhaps never been named aloud before. We track where you are being called and read the current transits to understant what  you are moving through right now. And we listen, always, to what the body is saying underneath all of it.

We will discuss homeopathic remedies, herbal tinctures, and flower essences chosen specifically for your constitution and your current chapter. In the days that follow, I will send you a written report that maps the parts we met in session, those that have been managing, those that have been waiting in exile, and names the remedies, the herbs, and the archetypes that can walk alongside each one. It is your personal mythology, written down, to return to as the work continues to unfold.

It is an invitation to finally understand what your body has been trying to say.

This offering stands alone and is open to anyone drawn to it. It is also a natural doorway into deeper ongoing work, for those who find themselves wanting to go further.

90-minute consultation + written integration: €250 | $300
