About me

IMG_6891.jpeg

From a young age, I was captivated by the stars and the mysteries of ancient civilizations. The early loss of my father and the trials of adolescence became quiet initiations, deepening my compassion for the unseen struggles others carry. Frequent moves across countries cultivated resilience and adaptability, while awakening a profound empathy that would fuel my lifelong search for meaning and what lies beneath the surface.

The figure of Vesta, Roman goddess of the hearth and guardian of the sacred flame, resonates deeply with my personal and therapeutic path. She embodies devotion and the alchemy of transformation that arises when we tend to our inner fire. Her symbolism forms the vibrant core of my practice, inspiring both the name and the spirit of my work.

My professional journey

With over two decades in holistic health, my roots began in Sydney, Australia, where I studied remedial massage, myofascial release, and traditional Chinese medicine. Later, political unrest during my psychology studies in France redirected me toward bodywork, leading to training in Osteopathy and Naturopathy. In 2012, I graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London.

After supporting victims of the 2016 Brussels terrorist attacks, I expanded my practice by integrating somatic and trauma-informed approaches. Having worked with thousands of bodies, including survivors of severe abuse, I've developed an integrative method that honours both the wisdom of the body and the depth of the psyche.

The deeper journey

Alongside my clinical work, I have always been drawn to mythology and archetypes, explored through astrology and tarot since my teenage years. My path has taken me into plant medicine ceremonies in the Amazon, Vipassana meditation, hypnotherapy, temazcal rituals, breathwork, Jungian analysis, de-armouring, temple arts, and family constellations. Human Design (as a 5/1 Projector) and the Gene Keys continue to be guiding lights in my life and practice.

My approach

My integrative therapy sessions emerged from a realization born of my own journey: the lack of support to truly integrate the intense, and often overwhelming, experiences that can arise after a major life transition, a therapy session, deep bodywork, a shamanic ceremony, or a demanding retreat.

Life itself often becomes the ground for these initiations. A shock, a loss, a betrayal, or a break-up can reopen old wounds, inviting us to meet them with awareness and compassion. These moments hold the potential to uncover and transform the repetitive, self-protective patterns that tend to replay in our intimate and professional lives.

Too often, such openings remain raw or fragmented without the right support. In my practice, I offer this missing link: a safe, grounded space supported by practical tools that help the nervous system to release, restore stability and safety, and make meaning of what has been touched, so that transformation can take root and become truly embodied.

I am bilingual and also offer sessions in French.

With love,
Heather Louise
